Welcome to Visual, an online portfolio of images.

I started exploring photography at the University at Buffalo, where I earned a minor in fine-art photography. Following college, I enjoyed a brief career as a studio manager, digital artist, and professional photographer working here in Buffalo as well as in Rochester.

I left the photography business in 2004 to pursue a teaching career. I have enjoyed that decision, and am currently working as a school administrator.

Although I took a break from shooting, there was always the knowledge I would someday return to photography, but on my own terms. Well, that time has come. I have no intentions of shooting professionally... instead, I plan on working on projects that have a strong personal meaning.

I hope you enjoy the journey as I explore my world through the lens of a camera.
